Classes We Offer
Beginner and Intermediate Classes
The Beginners class is aimed at total beginners, who have never danced before, including all those who think they have two left feet! We begin with a simple Rhythm Foxtrot and add basic Cha Cha Cha, Waltz and a basic Jive. We offer small classes, where you can expect plenty of individual attention, and where you will be able to progress at your own pace, without pressure.

Once you have mastered the basics in the first four dances, we move on to Intermediate level, where we add steps to the dances you know and add Quickstep and Tango to Ballroom and Rumba to Latin.

Argentine Tango
This is very much a relaxed, fun class and is usually run separately from the standard Ballroom and Latin classes. As this is a dance style of its own, no previous experience is required, and it is not necessary to be learning the standard dance styles to join this class. It is perfect for absolute beginners. Lots of fun!!
Bronze/Silver/Gold Levels
After the Intermediate Class, you would be able to dance socially with some confidence! For those who wish to take their dancing further, we offer graded classes beginning at Bronze level, where we add to what you already know and begin to develop your style by introducing some technical training. This continues through the Silver and Gold levels, when we add Samba and Viennese waltz. As dancing is a process, you may continue to dance as long as you wish, to whatever level you wish to attain.
Wedding First Dance Tuition
It is always a pleasure to see a couple who have taken the trouble to learn to dance for their wedding!
As the couple are always given the option of providing their own music or using their special song, the dance is tailored to suit, and can be choreographed to the couple's ability. If you have never danced before, we keep it very simple, so that you can look cool and confident. The number of private lessons required will vary, depending on the couple, but on average 4 to 6 lessons will suffice. I make sure the couple practice on the size of floor available at the wedding venue, and teach them how to walk on and, if required, how to end the dance and leave the floor. Everything is geared to your specific needs.
